What different types of Asbestos are there?

There are three main types of asbestos, these are:
Amosite which is commonly known as Brown Asbestos was used in pipe lagging or Asbestos Board.
Crocidolite is also known as blue Asbestos and is one of the most dangerous forms
Chrysotile or White Asbestos as it is known is the most common type of asbestos.

There are three main diseases caused by asbestos if removing it without the correct safety equipment and in the right manner. If in good condition asbestos is no risk to health but once disturbed the fibres get lodged in the lungs and can prove fatal causing Lung Cancer. Asbestosis or Mesothelioma.
